A seductive English sparkling rosé with notes of strawberry, cranberry, wild blossom and buttery sourdough toast.

Lying on the edge of the South Downs National Park on the same bed of ancient chalk also found in Champagne, Hambledon’s vineyards are perfect for growing the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes essential for making great sparkling wines. Winemakers Hervé Jestin and Felix Gabillet oversee all aspects of production at Hambledon’s state-of-the-art Hampshire facility (the only gravity-fed winery in the UK). Blending 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, a small amount of this wine was fermented and aged in French oak barrels to add further depth and complexity.

A beautiful, vivid wild-strawberry pink with a hue of red onion skin on the rim. On the nose, magnolia blossom is
followed stridently by perfumed wild-strawberry compote with hints of buttered white sourdough toast. The palate is rich and mouth filling
with flavours of strawberry balanced by zingy tart cranberry and pithy Amalfi lemon notes. The texture is creamy with a clean, crisp, yeasty finish.
